Samsung has launched a new “AI-powered food and recipe platform” called Samsung Food. The app utilizes Whisk’s Food AI tech to help users find interesting recipes and create tailored meal plans. It also provides step-by-step guides for cooking and analyzes saved recipes to provide a shopping list. Samsung plans to add new features and integrate Samsung Health for personalized nutrition advice. In 2024, Vision AI tech will be added to recognize food through the camera and provide nutrition information. Samsung Food is available for download in 104 countries with over 160,000 recipes.
