Meta uses your Facebook data to train its AI. Here’s how to opt out (sort of)

Meta, formerly known as Facebook, uses users’ personal data to train its AI language model called Llama 2. To opt out, users can delete their Facebook and associated accounts, although Meta may still have some information about them from other websites. Alternatively, users can use Off-Facebook Activity (OFA) tools to manage their data sharing and turn off future activity. Clearing history and submitting requests on the Generative AI Data Subject Rights page can also help improve AI privacy. Despite these measures, Meta will still have access to the data entered into Facebook, Instagram, and Threads.
