Senior-focused technology company Intuition Robotics has closed a $25 million funding round led by Woven Capital. The Israeli-based company created ElliQ, an AI-powered companion for older adults suffering from loneliness. The device uses generative AI and large language models to allow continuous conversational experiences. Intuition Robotics plans to enhance ElliQ’s capabilities and meet the demand across healthcare organizations and government agencies. The company aims to improve social infrastructure and serve overlooked markets. In 2022, Intuition partnered with the New York State Office for the Aging to bring ElliQ to more than 800 seniors and decrease loneliness. Another company in the AI senior care space is CarePredict.
