Compilation is an important process in program development, and as AI technology and large-scale AI models become prevalent, new challenges for compilers arise. Microsoft Research, in collaboration with academic colleagues, has released a quartet of AI compilers called Rammer, Roller, Welder, and Grinder. These compilers provide solutions for mainstream AI models and hardware compilation. Rammer optimizes hardware parallel utilization, Roller improves compilation efficiency, Welder optimizes memory access and computing efficiency, and Grinder allows efficient control flow execution on accelerators. These innovative compilers significantly improve AI compilation efficiency and facilitate the training and deployment of AI models.
