AI startup AI21 Labs has raised $155 million in a Series C funding round, bringing their total capital to $283 million at a valuation of $1.4 billion. The company has attracted interest from technology heavyweights Google and Nvidia. AI21 Labs is among the AI startups benefiting from the increased investments in AI since the success of Microsoft-backed OpenAI’s generative AI chatbot, ChatGPT. Founded in 2017, AI21 Labs has a strong customer base and aims to accelerate productivity and efficiency with generative AI-based systems.
